The urban areas of the places mentioned will get the majority of those Dem’s. And they’ll move to the WHITEST areas in the city, because they’re all about diversity, but only if it doesn’t live next door to them. They will spread out when they realize that the city schools, suck and the price of a good private school is at least as much as college tuition. So, they’ll spread to the suburbs, where they’ll spread and multiply turning Red places, Purple then Blue. They’ll believe that their policies are good if they could only get a chance to do it over and they will destroy wherever they move to.

With the exception of Houston, according to Redfin, the top nine cities people are leaving are all in blue states.

But Houston is a blue city. And Texas will be purple in another 5-10 years.

One correction: Ohio is hardly a "blue state." There is not one democrat statewide officeholder, only one rat senator and a few congresscritters. And 2018 looks pretty good.

But even with low unemployment the economy is still lagging, no thanks to a recently ineffectual governor Kasich.

Democrats claim their policies are superior to Republicans, but they keep leaving their blue states and moving into red states.

...which will turn blue because of the influx of stupidity. Liberals flee the consequences of their actions, but won't change the behaviors which triggered those consequences in the first place. In this, liberals have much in common with locusts.

The big problem with people leaving these Blue States for Red States is they bring their Politics with them and they tend to turn their new States into the same kind of political junk yards they just left. They already did it to Oregon and Washington and keep an eye on North Carolina and Nevada as examples of this.

This migration of Leftists into American states to avoid the consequences of their voting habits is as destructive to freedom as the migration of Muslims into the USA.

With the exception of Houston, according to Redfin, the top nine cities people are leaving are all in blue states. Besides San Francisco, they include New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Chicago, Houston, Detroit, Dayton and Milwaukee.

There is something squirrely with their metrics. DC's population is growing and is becoming more affluent. The lower income folks are being pushed out by gentrification. (Good riddance to the gangbangers, who should all move to Baltimore where they will fit right in. But it's a real problem when good, solid blue collar people as well as the teachers, police officers, young professionals with less than six figure incomes, etc. can't afford to live in the city.)

What, exactly, is this survey measuring? And in the DC area, are they looking at the city or the metro area, which is a very different animal?
