Two important considerations:

1. Making an airtight case that gets all the bad actors, with the max possible.

2. The biggest bombs strategically timed for Sep/Oct, for max electoral impact - not unethical if it is true.

It is hard to wait for justice, but it is probably wise to do so.

Nunes is Acting Attorney General. (Somebody has to do it.)

Those that follow Joe diGenova know that there are 24 ongoing investigations into the Russiagate corruption, all being led by guess who, Jeff Sessions.

Jeff Sessions has, by recusing himself, removed himself as the focus of left wing narratives and insulated himself from attack so he could do what he’s supposed to do, root out the criminal conspirators within the Deep state.

Whether or not that was his intention, that is the practical result of his recusal. Only time will tell if he’s up to the task.

It was a link on Conservative Treehouse. Sessions put the Forgein Policy board together for the Trump campaign, and he added Page and old Pop.

If true, that is the final straw for me. Damn near every POS is DC is corrupt and our system has failed. I blame the NEA and msm for the failure.

Agree.

Why? In addition to the turnover and reassignments in the FBI & DOJ, also because the President, not one to be trifled with, has not replaced Sessions with say, the current EPA head Scott Pruitt.

Pruitt, a former OK atty general, has already been Senate confirmed and thus could assume the AG post immediately - if Trump wished it.

No, I think the Sessions DOJ (and FBI) is moving right along with their investigative and case work.

AND they are doing it without leaks.

The media supposed friction between the President, Sessions and Wray is instead an effective ploy of misdirection.

Carter Page was brought into the Trump circle by Sam Clovis. Clovis had worked in the military IG office with Joseph Schmitz, who was a key member of the foreign policy advisory team.

The truth is coming out and it is going to the top. Sessions may be busier than we know?

Lots of other stuff going on in the background, immigration judges being reassigned to clear backlogs, etc.
I’m beginning to lean in that direction as well.

"Stop this now. There is no defense of Sessions. He’s worse than useless and should be fired asap."

Fired RFN.

Sessions is shielding hillary and all the criminals of the previous and current administration from prosecution. Sessions should do the right thing and resign or he needs to be fired and investigated for obstruction of justice.

"...stuff going on in the background"
Yes, that's what I think, too. Or hope.

We will probably know soon.

By all measurables... AG Jeff Sessons is a failure.

There is a genuine Constitutional crisis regarding the DOJ, FBI and the entire Judicial branch of government. Yet, there is nothing going on to deal with it.

Either there are [1] things going on "behind the scenes", which is what we all HOPE FOR, or [2]Sessons is just waging a "holding action" for the Deep State until Trump leaves.

As someone posted upthread, we have precious little time to wrest control of this 4 trillion dollar corrupt stasi state before it’s too late. (That’s the optimistic view)

Everything I’ve seen out of that southern fried rat bastard tells me he’s compromised and doing the bidding of the corrupt state.

BINGO, you captured some of my same thoughts.

If the Asst-AG R is “playing it straight” then once again if/when he moves the left/MSM cannot howl “Saturday Night Massacre” as he is “their boy”.

FReeper Behind the Blue Wall also mused: “OK, I disagree on marijuana, but allowing states to defy federal law on marijuana undercuts the case to crack down on them defying federal law on immigration, which to me is a far more important issue.”

I think it goes a lot further. By making states like California, Colorado, and such demand “states rights” over marijuana they make the case for “states rights” for many other powers usurped by the federal government.

Again, there are wheels inside of wheels in motion. I have to believe that President Trump and his advisors are miles ahead of the Washington political establishment.

The “soft coup was happening” By putting Meuller in chare the damage is being walled off and is being forced back onto the perpetrators. Do you really think nothing is happening? If Trump had immediately started flailing with the Broom and Sessions started immediately bringing indictments the Republicans and the emocrats ould have impeached Trump and removed him 6 months ago or more when they thought Pence would be a more pliable President. Sessions is not the architect but is certainly at least the yard boss in the operation to induce the left to clean itself out.
