They called him the Silent Executioner in Alabama - quiet in his prosecution of KKK executioner Henry Hays, but ended up getting the death penalty (he has in fact been put to death) - and bankrupted the Alabama Klan to boot.

WHEN was that? During the 20th century? I’m guessing thirty years ago, when Sessions was much much younger.

This was long before he grew accustomed to the leisurely life of a senator and became senior citizen.

Huge difference. Old dogs eventually lose their teeth.
