Cut..Cut...Cut the biased bass turds.
These clowns always like to say that the federal funding is only a small part of their overall budget. So why complain?
If they keep telling us that public funds are only a tiny part of their budget.
Let the people who watch it pay for it.
Zero NPR and PBS completely OUT of the budget. They are part of the Democrat media that taxpayers are forced to fund. Let the people who tune in pay the bill or let them sell ads as other broadcasters do.
NPR and PBS are have always been an inappropriate and unconstitutional use of our money. It is way past time for a lot of government spending that only benefits a few at the expense of the many to stop.
Goat a nice cigar and cognac for when this happens!!
He doesn’t want to get off his entitled butt and run his business.
Sounds like little people on the EBT.
I’m glad I read that article because before I was completely unenlightened about the wonders of TV. I had NO IDEA the idiot box could deliver such benefits to all Americans. Based on this, Congress should pass a law requiring every American to watch 20 hours per week of PBS.
I despise NPR.
Women,empowerment,women,empowerment,women,empowerment 24/7———and I’m a woman.
.
Is she a cute goat? Do you hold her cigar for her?
LOL...great point!
The children and grandchildren of LBJ...
“early childhood content”
Such as, “It’s better to be gay”, and other tales by Peter Rottentail.
Why must all Americans support broadcast entities that only preach democrat propaganda? Why is it even legal?
“Public media benefits all Americans whether they live in small towns, rural communities, or large urban areas,” the statement said.
Benefits? Definitely arguable.
All? ALL??????????? This is self delusion or intentional propaganda.
“Americans rely on public media for high-quality educational and informational programs that are proven to get their children ready to learn, and that provide opportunities for lifelong learning.”
Rely? RELY?????
Here we go again. There are just about a billion sources of media, information, and entertainment these days. “Rely” is utter BS
There was a time in the early 1970s when NPR started...that I probably did listen to ten hours a week of their radio-act (mostly all non-news and non-political). But by the late 1990s...all the jazz, opera and bluegrass music had disappeared and almost no literature.
PBS? In ten years, I’ve probably watched six total hours of it. Most Americans...I would guess three-quarters...watch less than ten hours a year. I don’t see where the value is.
Maybe if they moved their operation out of Arlington, and to some low-cost area....they could survive and live on easily.
