Getting tired of seeing headlines like this...not that these special elections affect the balance of power, but they create headlines and narratives that will cause donors and activists to consider closing their wallets and their calendars going into the general election thinking the trend is a lost cause. These races are being lost due to Dem voters simply showing up in larger numbers - a lot of these races are not races they should be winning if Republicans would simply pay attention enough to know there is an election going on and show up at the polls.
There are enough of us to hold the line and even make gains in November - perhaps even substantial gains in the Senate - if voters are not apathetic about voting since we have the Presidency...the talk radio circuit is rightfully focusing on the corruption regarding the dossier, etc. that other outlets are doing little reporting on...but need to hopefully start spending a lot more time on the fact we do have elections going on this year we need to be gearing up for...a successful election will damage momentum for the false narratives created by the press and the left...but if they win, it will only just be beginning with a big push for impeachment, etc.

Annoying, but we actually did better than before...only lost 7 points here. The thing to remember about these special elections is that the Democrats and the media have a PERFECT SYSTEM for them now. The Dems use their social media conduits to alert their people, while the media essentially imposes a blackout, so Republican voters have no clue that there is even an election.
Obviously that won’t be nearly as effective in the mid-terms, thankfully.

The GOP is going to lose these races unless we get our voters motivated.
To: Republican Wildcat
The Dems funded the Libertarian third party person that split the vote .
That will be play out in 2018.

“””James Buchanan’s well-known name: His father, Rep. Vern Buchanan (R)”””
You have to understand that James Buchanan was a loser candidate from the get go. James Buchanan was originally running as a Republican candidate in a neighboring district, but soon found that his only claim to fame was his father. So James opted to temporarily ‘move’ his residence to this district in hopes he could win.
This is what happens when RINO Republicans are offered to the voters.

I live here, and it’s the candidate, stupid.
If Jeb had run against Hillary, Hillary would have won.

the seat should have been won by the Republican. but from what i understand, the district is kind of close registration wise.
So the Dems got their base out.

Had the country not fallen into civil war after he left office, James Buchanan could have won this election.

The @FlaDems flipped House District 72, which backed Trump by 5% but then backed Dem Margaret Good by 7 points. Good won more precincts in the district than any Dem in recent memory. Look at all the blue #flapol #sayfie

The Democrats are now the Party of full blown Communism who have no respect for the Constitution or the Rule of Law.
To a man they have no problem using the Government against Private Citizens and Political Opponents when they are in power.
God help us if they win back Congress this year and the White House in 2020. They don’t even try to hide their agenda, and there are obviously doing something to get their Supporters, Legal and Illegal to the Polls.

You may have a point about talk radio. Here in Wisconsin we have decent conservative radio coverage. But we had an early January election for a state senate seat that most didn’t know about because it wasn’t covered.. My policy though is not to comment about any election result where I’m not from or have any knowledge of the local issues or how the candidates conducted the race.

Good got a ton of national figure support. Where was Romney? Where was Bush? Heck, where were the also-rans of 2016? Rick Scott and Vern Buchanan are *not* national figures, no matter what the article says.
https://www.yourobserver.com/article/house-district-72-special-election-fundraising
National figures have also played a role in turning out voters. Earlier this month, Goods campaign received a public endorsement from former Vice President Joe Biden. Former Maryland governor and presidential candidate Martin OMalley has also endorsed Good and joined other Florida Democrats in recent days campaigning in the district on her behalf.
Buchanan has also received support from national figures, including Gov. Rick Scott and his father, Vern Buchanan, who represents Sarasota in the U.S. House of Representatives. Last weekend Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trumps former campaign manager, headlined a rally in Sarasota designed to support Buchanans race for the state house.

Watch the LIVE VOTE RETURNS.
IF THE LIVE VOTE COUNT TOTALS START GOING
DOWN, YOU KNOW
"FRACTION MAGIC" IS BEING USED !
DemocRATS will NEVER leave elections in the hands of the voters again, after Trump won !
STEALING ELECTIONS WITH COMPUTERS and
Technology Cybercrimes, watch Bloomberg's
Digital Defense November 3, 2016 (19:40).
To better understand
"THE MASTER KEY" to stealing elections with computers, watch:
I'LL
NEVER TRUST ANOTHER COMPUTER COUNTED ELECTION AGAIN !
Things have changed!
Bennie Smith, a Memphis computer programmer, discovered HOW this is done through a
" ... a GEMS tabulatorfor Global Election Management Systemwhich is a personal computer installed with Diebold software that sits in a windowless room in the countys election headquarters.
The tabulator is the brains of the system.
It monitors the voting machines, sorts out which machines have delivered data and which havent, and tallies the results.
As voting machines check in and their votes are included in the official count, each machines status turns green on the GEMS master panel.
A red light means the upload has failed.
At the end of Memphiss election night in October 2015, there was no indication from the technician running Shelby Countys GEMS tabulator that any voting machine hadnt checked in or that any votes had gone missing, according to election commission e-mails obtained by Bloomberg Businessweek.
Yet as county technicians followed up on the evidence from Smiths poll-tape photo, they discovered more votes that never made it into the election night count, all from precincts with large concentrations of black voters. ... "
Diebold Election Systems changed its name in 2006 to
Premier Election Solutions.
Bloomberg's article titled
How to Protect Against Election Day Hacking gives more proof of this by Memphis computer programmer Bennie Smith.
"... The method Smith used to catch the problem should be a playbook for any candidate, party or concerned citizen worried about the accurate tallying of their votes:Smith snapped some pictures of printed voting tallies (known as poll tapes) at a high-turnout polling location and then compared the results there to the electronic tabulations.
This is a very good, if labor-intensive, way to check to ensure that votes are being counted correctly.
Smith has created a proof-of-concept program called Fraction Magic, showing how corrupt officials could tamper with GEMS to manipulate election outcomes.
