A second federal judge has blocked the Trump administration's attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
Nicholas Garaufis, a judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, granted a request from 17 attorneys general who sued the Trump administration for a temporary injunction

By simply ignoring the Constitution. The “law” is whatever they want it to be.

Totally agree, this isn’t legislation, it was an exec order that can be undone with the same pen.
DACA is not even an executive order. It’s just a practice adopted informally. An EO could end it today.
Is it really Trump’s decision to end DACA? I was under the impression that Obama the Great put a time limit on it.
Looks to me like Trump is trying to extend it.
The March 5 date is already the end of a six month DACA extension by the Trump Administration.
Judges have no Constitutional authority over foreign or immigration policy... unless the Executive Branch and/or Congress (cowards?) allows it. That is the rub. IMHO it’s time for president Trump to point out that unelected judges have no such authority. Following the example of Liberal run s**thole cities, he could declare the White House a “Judicial Tyranny Sanctuary Zone”... and ignore them.
WTH.. How do these judges get away with usurping a Presidents power!?
Trump should do as the Obunghole did and ignore the courts. Precedence wouldn’t you say?
This is why President Trump won.. The majority knew Clinton would have been the end of our country.. There would have been no saving her.. As it is.. It’s a monumental task just restoring part of the damage Obama and his Commie Crew did.

Why not? They already do ignore the USSC. But hey, the USSC has chosen to ignore the Constitution. The former Constitutional expert-Executive branch BHO decided what laws he would ignore. Congress has for years chosen to ignore BHO’s lawlessness. It’s been a free-for-all!
There are benefits for Trump going through the appeals process (play by the rules) with these political hack judges’ decisions. One benefit is we are going to restore the rule of law to some level while getting on record for generations to see the corruption of the political hack judges. Sandy Day O’Connor isn’t going to like the citizens’ criticism of judges, but she should be more appalled at what these judges do to bring upon themselves such criticism.
It's not a prerogative of the courts. This is one instance where Trump must absolutely NOT pursue this in the federal court system.
DACA was created by an unconstitutional EO. It can be removed by EO. It's as if it never happened.
These radical feral judges don’t know when to quit.
The only constitutionally required court in the US is the SCOTUS. All subordinate federal courts, *and their jurisdictions*, are under the control of congress.
This means that congress could change the law creating a “floor” in the federal court system (likely at the Circuit court level), below which federal judges could not enjoin the POTUS or federal agencies.
This argument goes all the way back to Marbury v. Madison (1803), in which the SCOTUS demanded that the POTUS *act*, and he refused to do so. This created the idea that the federal courts could *only* prevent the POTUS from acting, *not* require him to act (writ of mandamus).
But apparently MvM is no longer enough. But it would be too much for the SCOTUS alone to limit the POTUS actions, so having it at the circuit level would reestablish the balance.
It is intolerable that any Podunk federal judge can enjoin the POTUS.
So, DACA was created by Obala via Executive Order. How can a judge prevent Trump from undoing it the same way? I just don’t get why these judges aren’t being told to pound sand.
The is no Obama EO on DACA. It was an agreement within DHS.
