Authorities are investigating a reported shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Wednesday.
Officers responded to the school at 5901 Pine Island Road for the reported shooting, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.
There were reports of victims, BSO officials said.
Coral Springs Police tweeted that that people should stay away from the school due to an active police scene.
No other information was known.
His illness has made it very difficult to communicate with him and have a relationship. He can be paranoid and when that occurs, he can be dangerous. I’ve kept my distance for decades. It’s my poor mother that carries so much worry as to what will happen to him when she’s gone. After I developed acute leukemia a couple of years ago, he transformed towards me. He has treated me so kind and respectful. This can be expected from most. But, to see how good he’s been for 2 years straight has been beautiful. That’s when I see hope.
I just think it’s a shame that most with this illness don’t want to take the Meds. They are clearly tormented and would feel better. They say it makes them want to sleep all day.
I know, right.

Ok, so the kid appears to no longer be a student. How did the kid get in the school to pull the fire alarm. Follow up, how did he get into school with Rifle? Also talk that he was talking about blowing up school on youtube last night. It sounds like we are going to find this kid is another one of those with a myriad of warning signs that nobody bothered to address. Still too early to tell but that would be the things I would be inquiring about.
NBC is talking to a woman (mother) who is breaking up on a cell phone...she said something about a “spanish speaking student”....lester holt did not question her about it...i did not hear if she said the shooter was a “spanish speaking student” but it sounded like it was...
