This shooting incident now sounds like the latest elaborate orchestrated plan to ramp up gun control? The evil deep state can’t stop salivating over disarming us into hapless sheeple. Ask yourself, why was the FBI so stupid as to allow this production to continue to conclusion?
I hear you and understand but at the same time do you realize you are taking about turning schools into prisons? I just don’t think that is the answer. I would rather see a bunch of retired grandpas with military or LEO backgrounds volunteering to roam the halls (with CCW).
Even better, end the indoctrination centers. If people want or see the need to receive education past the 6th grade let them pay for it themselves and chose for themselves the facilities that will meet their needs with the assistance of their parents. No more free public indoctrination centers, no more “school shootings”. Sell the properties and buses to reduce public debt.
And does ANYBODY believe “we couldn’t find him”? That is laughable on it’s face.

Prison??? I didn’t mention walls or fences or guard towers and you jump to the conclusion of prisons??? My point was to make schools the opposite of their current status of soft targets without becoming visually objectionable. Your grandpa idea has value IMO as another element of defense in depth, along with armed teachers who have the late coach’s attitude. My suggestions are just the outer perimeter things that reduce the threat possibly reaching the inner response team.
This would be the Sheriff in office and on duty at the time of the shooting event, no?

It's being reported that the authorities previously responded to the Cruz's house 39 times before the blood bath. Did Israel, or his deputies ever respond to his house? Did Israel or his deputies ever visit this school, or other schools in Broward county and talk to students? It seems like a good idea since many kids had Cruz pegged as a potential shooter. What proactive methods does Israel employ in an effort to prevent school shootings?

Broward Sheriff Scott Israel also seemed to confirm that the “nikolascruzmakarov” account was authentic when he said that Cruz had posted disturbing photographs of dead lizards to social media...
The “nikolascruzmakarov” account (the Instagram handle appears to be a combination of the suspect’s name, Nikolas Cruz, and “Makarov,” the name of a Russian semi-automatic pistol) does feature images of dead lizards...

just noticed this bit in the UK Express article I posted in #31 - don’t know why it says “two weeks ago”:

The accusation that a bill designed to remove restrictions and allow the mentally ill to purchase guns was passed by the GOP and signed by President Trump had long been debunked. As the National Review’s Charles C.W. Cooke wrote over a year ago, what got removed was “in layman’s terms: The rule would have allowed bureaucrats within one of our federal agencies to bar American citizens from exercising a constitutional right — and on the highly questionable grounds that to be incapable of managing one’s finances is, by definition, to be a ‘mental defective.’”
And the bill wasn’t even supported by the NRA. But it was supported by the liberal ACLU and the American Association of People with Disabilities. Yet that didn’t stop the networks from pushing lies...
It should be noted that all three of the networks backed off and didn’t repeat the bogus claim about there being 18 school shootings since the start of the year. BUT, all of them left it out there and didn’t correct their reporting from the previous night...

Gun free zones are essentially a kill zone for evil. It’s a billboard saying no one is going to shoot back.
I’m still trying to figure out how he purchased the gun “legally” if he wasn’t 21 years old.
Why doesn’t the sheriff show us how it’s done and get rid of all of HIS firearms?
