After Florida, is the tide finally turning on gun control?

Wednesday’s mass shooting in Parkland, Fla., is the latest tragedy to befall a nation accustomed to headlines of gun deaths and the partisan political response that follows them. The gradual decrescendo that accompanies such horrific incidents — from outrage and thoughts and prayers to cooling off periods and eventual inaction — has long been familiar to Americans. Yet the killings in Parkland have come close on the heels of other acts of semi-automatic slaughter. Three of the nation’s 10 most deadly mass shootings have happened in the last six months, taking the lives of more than 100 people.

Mark Twain wrote about a “cat that never sat on a cold stove again”. The Democrats don’t seem to be even as intelligent as a cat, which is a good thing.

This should be a wake up call to people. We can’t continue to allow events like this to happen. There are going to be more and more incidents like this until something changes. It is time we made sure school officials are properly armed and trained to effectively defend their students in situations like this.

If the guy slammed into a group of students and killed 17 with his car would they ban cars?

The Democrats don’t seem to be even as intelligent as a cat, which is a good thing.

But both groups are natural-born con artists, which explains their success.

There is a real easy answer, actually. Start calling guns “abortions”. The libtards would start insisting everyone have at least one and if another school shooting were to occur the Brown Shirt Media would refuse to cover it because it was a “private matter”.

The more young people the deep states kills. The more young people will be duped into taking guns.

The Florida school shooter was flagged to the FBI, the Texas church shooter wasn’t flagged by the US Air Force, and we still don’t know what’s behind the Las Vegas shooter.

So at least 2/3 were known mental health threats. Yet they all purchased weapons legally.

The “turning point” meme is definitely being pushed by the PTB. The meme started at once, but the revelation of the FBI screw-up did interrupt it for a while. Looks like it is picking up steam again this AM.

"Three of the nation’s 10 most deadly mass shootings have happened in the last six months, taking the lives of more than 100 people."

In September 2011, Islamic terrorists murdered 2,977 and US courts are peachy-keen with unfettered immigration from countries involved with Islamic terrorism. And there is no Constitutional right to immigrate to the US.

Mass shootings are all tragedies and the acceptable number of deaths from mass shootings is zero but the US has one of the lowest firearm homicide rates of any country in North, Central or South America (liberals compare the US with Canada's homicide rate, but always ignore homicides the other 21 countries).

We should be asking why law enforcement always knows about these bat**** crazy people but never seems to be able to do anything about it.

Mass school shootings just didn't happen in the US prior to the Community Mental Health Act of 1963. (Nor did people live on the street in cardboard boxes, nor did the streets smell of urine.)

Personally i would love to see a locked case that can be opened quickly, much like a fire extinguisher case in each classroom that has several shotguns and body armor.

In each friggin classroom!

How about the tide turning on dangerous angry young male kooks?

We need a place where they can live in sheltered workshops and be kept from harming others. Period.
