I don't see anyone defending his behavior although there are a lot who don't care.
In light of the fact that he has professed faith in Christ and is now forgiven and seems to be living a moral life, whatever may or may not have happened some decades ago is not relevant any more.
People can and do change, especially when they meet Jesus.
I have to agree too, that the hypocrisy of the left in taking the moral high ground when it's a conservative in light of ALL that has been revealed about the liberals and dems is sickening.
They are in NO position to be pointing any fingers in judgment by any stretch of the imagination and I also agree they are pushing this allegation to try to undermine him in any way they can.
I will not defend his alleged behavior if it does indeed turn out to be true, but I will continue to support him as president because of the office and the good he's doing for our country.
I hope for his sake and his family’s sake he has truly changed. As I said before I voted for him because the alternative was worse. But that does not mean I have to wear blinders about what he is
