This will have a tremendous impact on the moral of the rank & file in the FBI. Other police agencies will hold them in contempt ... the FBI has lost its leadership role as a premier law enforcement agency. In the coming weeks you will see a surge in resignations & others taking early retirement.

You know, the FBI has a lot less friends after this FISA debacle, and now this. When we need them, they aren’t there.
What makes me sad is that I know a young man, a real Dreamer (parents did come here illegally once; they are legal now, he was born here), worked his way through a prestigious university, is now getting his masters in criminal justice, and interns for the FBI. His dream has always been to work there. He is a good Christian law and order young man. What a sad thing for him to see this.

I once called the FBI and told them how a disaster killing hundreds of people could be done. The agent I talked to saw my point and said something like, "Oh shit"! However, the last time I was able to check nothing had been done. Luckily, the event hasn't happened either.
