Not necessarily defending Gowdy, but he was hamstrung by political forces in the Leadership and unable to coerce cooperation from witnesses due to congressional limitations.
That’s why it took outside entities like Judicial Watch to be the ones to expose much of what we DID learn.

Yes we need military tribunals. The crimes, sedition and treason by at least 25 people, including Hillary and Obama, are so massive as to be perceived to be done by domestic enemies. The sedition and treason by domestic enemies, communist to the core, requires military tribunals.
My take is get all the ducks in a row, massive quiet investigations of the 25 involved, gather all the evidence and, after the midterms, start a Nuremberg Trials type of proceeding.
It will take at least a year anyway to gather all the evidence, maybe two. This cannot go unprosecuted, it just can't. It will surely reoccur if nothing is done.

Daily Motion never plays clear for me, it’s a jumble of images. I remember “Chicago Hope” was better than “ER.” Since I was quite ill during the later period when it ran, I missed an awful lot of shows (plus, I gave up watching med-related stuff, since it was too unpleasant for me). I didn’t see this ep or the last few seasons. That was a pretty brutal $hitcanning of his former colleagues, and the comment to Lahti’s character about licking honey off her was gold. Mandy Patinkin may be a jackass in real life, but he’s still a great actor (and singer, too).
I wouldn’t want Alan Dershowitz to represent me in traffic court. He’d take the case up to the SCOTUS, make a new precedent, but when it would be all over, I’d still have to pay the $50 fine and also his billed hours and disbursements. He doesn’t represent clients, he represents an uncontrollable urge to make law.
