The NBA All Star game just finished the national anthem and it didn’t go very well. Maybe Fergie wasn’t the best choice?

Bad enough but not close to the worst.

Not sure they know the words. There is a point near the end when the singer goes high. The crowd starts cheering. i thank they were laughing because her rendition didn’t call for cheers.

The whole NBA all star thing was just a bad dream. I could not watch it. Fergie whoever she is was terrible.

I’m normally one to defend some of the “interpretations” of this song - but this isn’t one of them!
Biggest problem - it was just too slow - and that hurt her vocal delivery.
As for the bad singing...the only out I can give her is possible technical problems. If you can’t hear yourself well - you push too hard and overcompensate - often results in off key-ness.
