American Lookout ^ | 02-18-2018

Have you ever wondered why when you go into an airport all the TV’s are showing CNN. There are lots of other news networks but CNN seems to have a monopoly. In a recent segment on his show, Tucker Carlson explained what’s behind this.

“I always carry a Universal Remote when I travel. I leave it in my carry on bag so I dont forget it. Old Babes have lost the ability to tolerate BS.”

That really works?

Orlando International seems to have only ESPN News on rather than CNN. At least in the terminal for Southwest.

I know. Not much different.

Tie the “federal purse strings” of federal aid to airports, with regulatory denial of that aid to any airport that allows any cable company to buy it’s way onto their publicly viewed TV screens.

What bothers me is my financial advisers new office has a large flat panel with CNN on it while we talk. The sound is muted, but still it sets up an atmosphere of distrust. She’s a Hitlery grade leftist, but she does very good with my account, so I limit the number of visits with her to one per year.

Perhaps 15% now are watching. The rest? Telephone screens. Or looking at their watch. Reading other ebooks and entertainment.

The (previously loud) CNN “talking points” are also being more and more muted as more people complain - like I do) about being forced to hear the endless repetition of the same 30 minute “news” ...

I’ve often wondered about this. It’s annoying.

But what is even more annoying is the “music” I have to listen to when eating out. Almost always it’s some version of rap or some woman screaming in a shrill manner.

And what about commercials? Mixed race couples, with blacks disproportionately represented. I’m not suggesting a conspiracy but I’m convinced that advertisers bend over backwards to do these things to avoid the charge of “racism.” No wonder rap and hip hop have taken the Top 40.

Ever notice that almost every commercial is accompanied by the thump thump thump of rap? (Wouldn’t it be nice to hear an acoustical guitar on occasion?) We’re being assaulted with a crap culture and everyone seems afraid to voice dissent for fear of condemnation or the charge of racism.

Fortunately some blacks are aware of the destructive effects of the violence and misogyny of hip hop:

They're not at PIT, thank you very much.

The Southwest gates have small monitors running some cnn but you can barely notice and certainly can't hear them.

Charlotte had CNN on one TV and MSNBC on the other. I was trapped in a liberal mecca for two hours. That is when I appreciate being a Freeper.

All they have to do to be in compliance is announce that it’s sponsored.

It’s not CNN Travel that’s not in compliance, it’s their regular cable channel.
