I got into a huge argument with my liberal sister - then an active journalist - over the notion that Sarah Palin’s website somehow had a role in the Giffords shooting. I lost a lot of respect for her that day; in her mind, the MSM are stalwart heroes who can do no wrong.

I have a sister just like that and we can’t even visit anymore. She just won’t stop with the little digs inserted into every genre of conversation. Seems like she can’t help it. I’ve wondered if these lefties have been hypnotized in some way, or perhaps their media is running subliminal messages.

I hipped up my receptive older sister thirty years ago. She was willing to listen and accept facts.
