Well, PRESIDENT Trump said he was going to Make America Great Again. Changing the GOP was part of that.

No, it hasn’t.

The GOP is still the same useless, dishonest piece of crap it’s always been.

If the GOP had actually stuck to their platform, Trump wouldn't have been needed. How about moving on and not shooting of your mouths?

Ros-Lehtinen’s remarks surprise me, but the others are totally predictable.

Good riddance to Flake. His departure can’t come soon enough.

I have no idea what these light-weights thought Republicans should advocate for.

Isn’t it the founding principles, small government, and getting out of the way so people could flourish.

My God, they have micro-managed us into oblivion.

Yes the party is changing go what it should be.

We only need one full-on Leftist unit on the field at one time.

I’m glad these folks are cutting and running. Trump is a master at cleaning house.

“Royce said he always considered the Republican Party to be “a big tent party” with room “for a lot of different viewpoints.” He said part of the answer is for the party to look at “what we can do to change the fact that no longer do we really have the types of friendships across the aisle that we once had.”

Yeah, those “friendships across the aisle,” where guys like Royce walked across with their pants at half-mast, did a 180, and bent over.

Ros-Lehtinen complained that “very few women” are running for office on the Republican ticket. “Far greater numbers of women are identifying themselves as being in the Democratic Party. Minorities that have always been traditionally a group that we should really be going after.” …

I would assume, then, that she will be hitting the fundraising circuit for Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee and John James in Michigan, then, right?

What do they mean "GOP principles"?

The GOP hasn't had principles for decades.

The Real GOP principles:

F your GOP principles, as they are not the principles that have long been the GOP. I for one am tickled you have decided not to run. Saves us the trouble of replacing you.

They decided to pack it in.

Reps. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), and Charlie Dent (R-Pa.) and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) complained about the GOP’s narrowing focus and the perception that the Republicans must pledge loyalty to the president instead of to GOP principles

Um, he's done more for GOP principles than you clowns ever did. You guys seem to have lib wussy principles not shared by the party's base voters, I know I don't share them, I don't wanna give illegal aliens a hug, ok?

Why do Republicans need to be a “big tent” when we’ve got perfectly good Democrats?

The only thing that has changed is the liberal Demonrats took a hard left turn, and the liberal RINO’s just went along to get along.

Queer marriage, queers in the military, socialized medicine, State legalized dope, are just some of the radical changes in the last 10 years.

“The Party” is irrelevant. This confusion is, I think, a consequence of its inhabitants styling themselves as our leaders, when in fact they are supposed to be our representatives. When they discover after being beaten over the head with it like a stupid mule meeting a two by four that whatever golden vision they have concocted through inadequate education, over-familiarity with the Beltway illusion factory, and a vast over-estimation of their own importance isn’t reflected by the electorate, yes, they’re going to be a bit confused. They can learn or they meet the two by four again, it’s that simple.
