Yeah lucky for the FBI, they found a new fall guy.
Yes, and the sheriff too. He's on every network sneering about perimeter boy...well, I would think it was the sheriff who hired the dumb arse.
And for his supervisor ... that being the sheriff.
While not defending what this deputy did (or didn't do), I find it curious that the sheriff was so quick to go public with information on his malfeasance and dismissal. That's rather uncharacteristic for law enforcement in these types of situations.
And, it takes the spotlight off the sheriff himself.
