This is a laugher. In 2011, by the government admittance, we had 5500 nuclear weapons that could be deployed, most of them within minutes, some in seconds. That amount would cause a destruction of the earth 5 times over. The Russians had between 10,000 and 15,000 deployable weapons, or almost three times the capacity of the US that will destroy the earth.

I am a simple man, my question is just as simple, if either one launches, the other one will too. How many times with our joint capacity to destroy the earth do we need to get it done? And it will happen if either one launches.

Thank you Vlad for stating the obvious. Would you like a similar film showing the destruction of Saint Petersburg? Or maybe you can wait for the time down the road with live action when your people start dying of radiation poisoning or starvation/dehydration from having your back yard glow for about a thousand years along with the nuclear winter that will come making everything unconsumeable for a few generations so the only things that may survive are some insects. Probably not though.

This posturing thing is even stupid for a 3 year old. Who can you scare when they can’t change it so they have to accept it?

Dr. Strangelove:
"The whole point of the doomsday machine is lost...if you keep it a secret! Why didn't you tell the world, eh?!"

I think someone felt it was time to remind us all of that there really are world shattering weapons out there.
