BRENTWOOD, N.Y. — The old minivan appeared near the school on a Tuesday morning, its Illinois plates the only thing out of place in the blue-collar suburbs of central Long Island. But as backpack-toting teenagers passed by on their way to Brentwood High, the van’s doors suddenly swung open.
Out sprang members of the violent street gang MS-13, armed with baseball bats.
They attacked three 16-year-old students they suspected of being rivals before driving off. When police spotted the van in the same neighborhood the following afternoon and surrounded it at gunpoint, the MS-13 members were in the midst of trying to abduct a fourth.
“We were going to take him somewhere private and beat him to death,” said Miguel Rivera, 20, according to a Suffolk County indictment.
The Dec. 6 arrests of Rivera and four others thwarted what police say would have been the sixth murder of a Brentwood High School student by MS-13 in less than two years.
But the incident also shook the school for another reason.
All but one of those arrested attended Brentwood, according to Suffolk County police. Three were unaccompanied minors who had been caught at the border and then placed in the community by a federal refugee program.

There's one in particular trying to blame MS-13 on Reagan's amnesty and trying to steer the conversation towards white mass shooters like Stephen Paddock. Otherwise, many of the comments in the top 100 or so I perused seem to take a more conservative position.
I lived in Brentwood for a couple of years around 1960 ... it was starting to deteriorate even then.

I can’t figure out why parents let their kids go back to school when their lives have been threatened by bullies, gang members, etc. I can’t imagine the guilt they must feel.

ALL UNACCOMPANIED MINORS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT BACK TO THEIR PARENTS.
When Obama allowed these minors - these criminals and victims (children to fill up Chicago whore houses ) what Obama did was a crime against humanity. These people- thugs -gang members - need to be sent back to where they came from. If a 10 year old runs away from home in the United States the police return him to his family - they don't 'give him away' to people who claim (but can't prove) they're relatives.
It's easier to 'organize for a communist takeover' if the country is destabilized.

Hussein was raised in a Muslim country with records showing he was a Muslim student.
Hussein's school records are sealed. Many suggest Hussein Obama attended schools registered as a foreign student.
Hussein gave significant amounts of cash to Iran.
Hussein directed NASA to share rocket technology with Muslims.
Hussein sided with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. In LIbya, Hussein and Hillary armed Muslim terrorists. Same in Syria, and Iraq.....
