Pomona was largely black in the 70’s, but Mexicans drove most of them out during the 80’s. It’s about 70% latino these days with a few bkacks remaining. Whites are limited to two nice areas in Pomona, one area known as Phillips Ranch and upscale homes near the LA County Fairgrounds.
