Sessions needs to recuse himself from all DoJ activities as he is giving the appearance of conflict of interest in impersonating an actual AG.

How did we get to this place?

Big question, but at least some of the answer lies with the two parties/ideologies. The Democrats are all about politics - it is their religion. They rarely stop paying attention to what is happening in D.C. and at home. They are constantly trying to advance their causes, usually to the detriment of our freedoms. The Republicans, on the other hand, mostly want to be left alone and view government as a necessary evil. GOP voters are far more likely to lose track of what is happening in the political realm as they tend to get caught up in the minutiae of life, some of it meaningful, but much of it a waste of time. As long as things seem to be going well, the average GOP voter inevitably loses track of what the pols/bureaucrats in D.C. are doing. And of course, when one side keeps pushing while the other goes to sleep, you end up with the mess/corruption we have in D.C. That's my short take on this, at least, but obviously there is more to it than just this.

The GOPe is complicit in these unconstitutional assaults through they utter lack of support of a POTUS of their own party. They want Trump tied up so his MAGA agenda is stalled and the Chamber of Commerce K Street agenda is advanced.

My guess is that for every day you didn’t see Obama saying something stupid he was weaponizing everything to radical levels behind the scenes.

“We will fundamentally transform America”

(”we’re ready” someone shouts)

“oh, you’d better be”

I never forgot those words. I often remind people here that, as senator, Obama flew in and campaigned for a communist muslim in Kenya, Raila Odinga. Obama received the red carpet welcome with singing children and a big hug from Odinga. When Odinga lost he had his people burn Churches down with people inside. Odinga claims Obama is his cousin, which isn’t confirmed but the two are friends.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7166932.stm

So we see the IRS, DOJ, FBI, at minimum, become weaponized during his time. He told us nobody was monitoring our calls. Lie. He told us he didn’t influence or ask about the Hillary investigation. Lie.

These type of people are vengeful narcissists and dangerous. That we have the FBI ignoring tips of a kid going to shoot up a school and it gets ignored, asking for it to happen, does not surprise me. These types of people do not want an armed populace. They need us disarmed to really carry out their will. A few kids paying the price? Big deal (to them).

Can we prove it? ...of course not, it’s just a giant web of corruption - which is why nobody ever goes to jail.

Earlier this week I heard some talking heads say it should be this week, as if they had inside information. And several were saying mid-March a few weeks back. Nobody’s been right yet.

Yup. If not for the lack of support by some or most of the GOP in Congress, Trump could easily fire Rosenstein, Session and Mueller.

Additionally, and somewhat related, it was pointed out earlier today there is a very valid reason for AG Jeff Sessions not to appoint a Special Counsel. A review of the ideology –as noted within the Office of Special Counsel communications unit– shows a clear bias against the current administration. A bias that is NOT evident within the public communication prior to the Trump administration. The OSC has strongly expressed political views.

It is beyond likely the federal agency known as The Office of Special Counsel is every bit as politicized as the DOJ and FBI officials they would be tasked with investigating. Take a look for yourself. Therefore what AG Jeff Sessions previously explained as the process he has undertaken -bringing in an ‘outside of DC‘ prosecutor- begins to make more sense, albeit frustratingly methodical.

Sounds like it’s time to make a rather large donation to FR, even if it wasn’t exactly Sessions idea.
