I messed up post 131. I actually served with a guy that shot his Lt. swift boat captain in the knee in Vietnam. He kept his clearance but never made it past E-6. He went to a review board and they looked the other way..

It must have been an incredibly incompetent thoroughly dislikable Lt. (Must have made Nedelmeyer from Animal House look like Mother Teresa!)
