No, if it turns out there’s no jihadist connection, it just means the presumption is rebutted.
But it is right to initially presume Islamic jihadism with this kind of nonsensical destruction because almost all of these crazed acts are.
BTW, do we have clear and convincing evidence this guy wasn’t radicalized?
