That's one example of the state, operating in broad daylight, in clear violation of the constitution. Nothing "deep" about that. That's what the state does when no one holds it accountable.

How is this aspect of the executive branch operating as a "rogue" bureaucracy an example of a "deep state"? By contrast, can you name one aspect of the federal government that is acting "above board" and within it's constitutional limits as an example of the "good state" as opposed to the "deep state"? I can't seem to lay my finger on one aspect of the federal government that is struggling against this so-called, ambiguous and nefarious "deep state".
