Joe the Perv may have been a high school football star, and he may have been an enforcer in Wilmington doing the Mob, Union, and Democrat (but I repeat myself) dirty work. That makes him a bully as well as a perv.
His football career ended as a running back for the freshman football team at Delaware. That’s the stuff legends are made of.
He graduated with a BA in the bottom 5% (506 out of 688) of his class at Delaware. He graduated in the bottom 11% (76 out of 85) of his Syracuse law school class where he was guilty of plagiarism and failed a course.
He was guilty of plagiarism as a politician.
He also never served in our Armed Forces and avoided the draft by being medically disqualified for asthma.
The Perv clearly has not had any effective training in how to fight. If he has ever attended such training he needs to get his money back, because in his case, it was useless and he continued his record of gross underperformance.
Any mildly competent warrior would have put him six feet under in 1960, and would certainly do so today.

I had read a long magazine article on him about 15 years ago, and they went into his enforcer history in depth (I looked for it on Google, but couldn’t locate it after about 10 minutes of searching). And your summation sentence is exactly right—dems, unions, mob. And, he may well have been a bully.
He was a star in HS, and likely got injured in college. But, he will never be asked to join Mensa, that’s for sure!
