"...Hindus, who are not white." Many Hindus are considered descendants of Caucasoid race, and therefore ARE "white". Their skins may be a bit darker, but their DNA isn't.

Hindus may or may not be vegetarians but they are not usually vegans.
Hindus eat milk and honey where vegans will not.
A vegan usually is of European extraction as few other people have the desire to follow such a strange and unnatural diet.
