Sorry but Trump is not terribly bright. sad that this man is the best the Republicans can offer the country at such a critical time. Fool of the week award goes to the Donald.

Too many Republicans in Congress are against Trump and conservatism. The Deep State remains embedded at the DOJ and the FBI. And then of course there's Big Media out to get Trump.

Add to that we have a few Qtards who erroneously think that everything is peachy keen and that Big Government and the Deep State is on the run.

“i will never sign another bill like this again...no one read it..”

He will be impeached before the next one comes up so I guess he is right on that one. He was not wrong, he was galactically wrong on signing this bill. He allowed those two POSs who run the legislative branch to drive a wedge between him and his base.

This has been the plan since a few months ago and probably the reason a lot of committee members are leaving inasmuch as they know they are going to get the boot.

Trump came to town to drain the swamp. Instead, the swamp has drained him.

The Dems with republican support have shown him who is in charge. He is one and done if he makes it that far.

Pres. Trump vowed not to sign another bill like this one. He may not have to,because this $1.3 TRILLION budget will only fund the greedy government until September…five months! The way he has been going along with the stinking Senate, he may be gone by then, and no real conservatives will care.

..DJT deserves the opportunity to finish the chess match. The military was one of the main reasons he ran. There is more to this than what is reported on MSM sources and clear web sites...

HUGELY disappointed in Trump and the Republicans. Ryan and McConnell don’t know how to govern - they only know how to cave. No more $$$ to the Republican Party as there’s no difference between them and the Democrats.

I watched Pres. Trump on the 1 PM WH press release.

I’m satisfied that he’s the same Trump that us patriots hired.

Trump indicated that probably the lion’s share of the weight of the Omnibus spending bill is Section 8-compliant, military-related spending.

He also clarified that although the Democrats won a few things with the bill, patriots won more.

But he also made it clear that it’s the last time that he’s going to sign such a bill.

The problem that I see with some patriots concerning the spending bill is that they are basically getting “carsick” with a master deal-maker at the wheel.

He's been assimilated. He's part of the swamp, now.

That didn't take long.

I think this was a test, by President Trump, to gauge exactly how much the American people are for his MAGA agenda, via how much influence we the people actually have on congress.

And we failed miserably.

There’s no point in fighting for people who are not willing to fight. We’re too busy pointing fingers and blaming everyone except ourselves. We get the governmemt that we deserve.

The only recourse at this point is a wholesale firing of every federal government official and employee and starting over.

And a full blown civil war against said federal employees, because that’s what it will come down to, because they won’t give up that power without a fight.

Anyone else feel betrayed? I really thought Trump was different (silly me for trusting any politician), but the sad fact is, he's not. He's either weak or foolish, and right now it doesn't make much of a difference which. Vetoing this bill was a no-brainer--an easy decision if he really intended to keep his campaign promises--and he couldn't do it.

Donald Trump, The President with an alligator mouth and a hummingbird ass and he let his mouth overload his ass with his false threat to veto the spending bill. A major victory for Schumer and Pelosi.

Very disappointing. That it came down to an all-or-nothing veto is exceptionally bad. Where was the Trump White House while the budget was being crafted? It isn’t like the White House is sitting on the sidelines waiting for the budget to suddenly show up on his desk.

No, sorry to say, this shows very bad form, as in malfeasance bad.

There is no way Ryan and McConnell have not been in ongoing communication with the White House throughout the budget process, so this should not be falsely framed as a shock that this landed on his desk in this manner.

Yeah, last one he’ll sign like this. You mean, as in, “If we’re in the majority the first thing we’ll do is repeal Obamacare. Or, “Read my lips...”

Guess what? Republicans now have absolutely no momentum going into the November elections. What on earth could possibly motivate the base to show up at the polls in November? So they can again get shafted by Ryan, McConnell and the RINO squad? Why? Why should I ever vote Republican?

Pffft...

I would speculate that the Dems take the House, possibly the Senate. If they don’t immediately set out to impeach, I fear Trump will go wobbly and, let’s just say, he’ll work very well with the Democrats.
