If they pivot toward deep state cash and goodies they were never “good people” to begin with. They probably ran to get the cash and goodies in the first place, lying to us like they always do.
I am in California, so I have NO representation in DC.

They don’t work for us. They work for whoever throws the most money at them. The average voter can never come close to that. We are nothing to them-they don’t give one single solitary shit about us.
They don’t care about our country
All they care about is their money and power and they don’t care who they hurt or kill to hold on to it.

As things unfold, and their evil deeds continuously brought into light, the drumbeat of gun control intensifies and they double down on dividing us by race, class, creed and color.
I believe they are escalating because too many of us on both sides are waking up.
I still don’t believe our President is one of them.
He usually comes out on top somehow eventually even if msm won’t cover it.
Government and media are afraid.

Congress has switched incentives in their favor... it's going to take a lot of effort on our part to switch the incentives back to something saner. That said I agree with you... the MSM is afraid - and so is the deep state. AND our President is NOT one of them...
