White House staffers on edge as Trump eyes another shake-up

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is tired of being told “no.”

Six weeks of staff churn and pronouncement shocks reflect a president who has grown increasingly confident on the job and more trusting of his instincts. After 14 months in the Oval Office, Trump is more comfortable bucking the advice of White House staffers and congressional Republicans, and that is increasingly putting even his allies on edge.

Trump may have an even more dramatic shake-up in mind for his administration.

The president has floated to outside advisers a plan to do away with the traditional West Wing power structure, including the formal chief of staff role, to create the more free-wheeling atmosphere he relished while running his business and later his presidential campaign at Trump Tower.

The sense of apprehension is palpable in the West Wing, where tempers are running short and uneasy aides discuss their future employment prospects behind closed doors, according to six White House officials and several outside advisers. They all spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the internal dynamics.

I wish Trump would fire everyone, then quit.

Leave NO ONE to run the government. It would be a major improvement.

When in a business you don’t like, you sell it off. Seems Trump has sold out a good portion of what we had been hoping for.

After today’s MASSIVE MISTAKE President Trump should only be considering the firing of anyone on his staff that advised him to make the one move that marked the end of his bid to MAGA....

It wouldn’t surprise me if the personnel department at the White House is running 24/7 processing all of the exit files on fired White House staffers.

Someone should keep a running list of all the White House staffers, insiders, officials and others who have been fired since Trump took office. Would it be 20? 30, 40, 50 or more? I wouldn’t be surprised.

Oh well. This is a man who is infamous for “You’re Fired!”

I think he can relax now. He busted ass to give the democrats everything they want so no need to keep switching the staff around like that.

Signing today’s bill was a masterpiece. It runs out in 6 months and has to be debated again just before the election.
THAT’S when the issues will really be decided — when the democrats are likely reeling from investigations and scandals.

Patience. We’ll get what we voted for; it’s just a little harder with a congress run by dems and rhinos.

Think you are mistaken about running out in 6 months. Think David Brat said not.

Any Freeper know for sure?

meanwhile...the Obama love-in continues.
Australian Prime Minister is supposed to be a Conservative; is the same guy who got Obama to agree to take in some of the asylum seekers trying to get into Australia during the transition to the Trump presidency:

24 Mar: Daily Mail: Barack Obama is set to earn $1.3million for a whistle-stop speaking tour of Australia and New Zealand
Former US President appeared at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney
He stayed at the $2,449-a-night Intercontinental Hotel overlooking the harbour
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull paid him a visit in his suite earlier this week
Now flown to New Zealand where he’s golfed and will jet to Singapore and Japan
By Gareth Davies
Next on his one-week tour is Japan and Singapore, and he is expected to earn seven figures for his work...
He was seen taking in the views over Sydney Harbour and caught up with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull who paid him a visit...

While Mastercard, who are one of the major sponsors of Obama’s trip Down Under, would not reveal how much he is being paid, the Divisional President of Australasia Richard Wormald told the Telegraph: ‘We are delighted to be able to support President Obama’s visit to Australia and New Zealand to enable local leaders to gain insights from one of the most revered leaders of our time.’
Despite him having left the Oval Office more than a year ago, roads were still shut down in a military-style operation to ensure Obama’s safety.
Police in riot gear were spotted around the art gallery in Sydney and dozens of fans gathered to try and get a glimpse of their hero...

What a disaster!

President Trump is cleaning out people who work for his enemies, oppose his agenda, create false news and leak confidential info to the media.

Guess he is tired of pulling knives out of his back every night.

If he keeps up this sort of behavior he will have to be dealt with before he destroys everything the corrupt Deep State politicians stand for!

In hind site hiring Rinse and trying to play ball with the GOP was POTUS’s biggest mistake. I suppose he had to give it a shot. But now his first term is basically trashed. We may win some small battles but the GOP has gone AWOL!

The personel office in the White House is run by a former Boehner staffer. Trump needs to start the pink slips right there.

Ass Press.

We’ll see.

I’m not giving up on DJT.

Think of being under 15 months of Hitlery’s presence in the Oval Office. I shudder.
