Even if this becomes law there won’t be one single instance of either compliance or enforcement east of the Cascades.
I know, but consider this:
You’re carrying your Glock 26, concealed, legit CCW and all.
You’re pulled over, the cop asks if you’re armed, you say yes, he asks to see your pistol, you pull out your G26, and since you’re not at an authorized firing range or on your own property, you’ve just committed a felony, as “assault weapons” are only allowed to be used in those two places.
You go to jail, lose all your weapons, lose your CCW and can never vote or own a gun again.
I’d dasn’t say most rational people wouldn’t take that chance.
And all it takes is a few anti-2A cops.

I love it!!
Thanks,

Negatory, petitioners pulled Initiative 42, this is Initiative 43, and it's alive and well.
It gathered the required 3000 signatures, and if verified by the Oregon Secretary of State, it will appear as a ballot initiative in November 2019.
Assault weapon ban petitioners turn in signatures to Oregon Secretary of State
I lived in Oregon for 17 years until recently; if voted on by Oregon voters, (Tri-county liberals), it WILL pass.
Are you sure? Some are interpreting it to mean that all semis must be registered to police or law enforcement, or be turned in, taken out of State....
