The ship is a little over 500 feet long and displaces roughly 9200 tons. It cost around 2 billion dollars and is outfitted with the latest electronics and weapons systems. Potentially, it is one of the deadliest ships on the ocean.
Don’t think it’s $2 billion. The figure I’ve seen is $700 million.
