Great picture, thanks.

There were lots of speakers today at the ceremony. I am very disappointed, though not surprised that “The Post and Courier” chose to highlight the divisiveness of our past, rather than emphasize the honor of posthumously awarded Medal of Honor recipient Ralph Johnson, who sacrificed his life for his fellow soldiers.

These Littorial ships are small and with the communications capabilities they have, they can direct and coordinate a large array of sea battle from a long distance away. They have a small radar and sonar signature and although their firepower may be limited; their extension of power is considerably larger than their footprint.

Ralph Johnson died at age 19, he gave his life in battle to save his comrades. Strangely enough, if he came back to life today he would not be old enough to drink a beer legally in his home state of South Carolina. That just ain’t right.
