2nd Round you will see the real TRUMP

How do we know this wasn't the real TRUMP?

TRUMP's Achilles Heel is the Military, he also had Mattis come to him telling him how important this Bill was for The Military so he reluctantly signed it

With the Military funded now, watch out Democrats!

The House did the foirst part of the dirty deed with full knowledge that McConnell and his Dems would pass it and have access to a veto-proof majority.

I believe with the planned upcoming meeting with N. Korea he had to get the military funded. That’s a priority. We see only what the reporters want us to see. Lord only knows what’s said behind close doors.

Abject fealty to Trump, huh? Why didn’t he veto the bill? Who cares if they override it at least his principles would be known. By not vetoing the bill we know for sure where his principles lie - lining the swamp. The very swamp he vowed to drain.

Please don’t give me any crap about the “next round” or the next budget. There won’t be a next budget. There hasn’t been one for ten years. Remember, this is an omnibus bill not a budget. No one in DC wants to be limited by a budget and, apparently that includes Trump.

Through family members both McConnell and Biden have used their positions to advance their financial standing to the point of being multi millionaires particularly in China according “Secret Empires” a book written by Schweizer which has just been released. It was reviewed on Mark Levin’s show 3/23/.

TRUMP AN EASY MARK? I DONT THINK SO:

THIS JUST IN---President Designates Emergency Requirement of ALL Funding Designated in the Omnibus Bill
Twitter Account | March 24, 2018 | John Salisbury / FR Posted by saywhatagain

ITEM---The President designated as an "emergency requirement" ALL funding so designated by the Congress in the Act pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, for the accounts referenced in section 7058(d) (Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...

ITEM --- Trump has basically told the House....."See ya in court!"

================================

The details (hat tip John Salisbury):

1. Congress allocates money. The President spends the allocated money.

2. Once Congress allocates money, their job is oversight. They don't spend the money and have no say HOW it gets spent.

3. Once the President is given the money, he has a number of choices in spending it....some of the money is fungible and some isn't. 4. By Trump declaring a Human Rights Emergency AND has notified Congress that he's invoking the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, this opens up new spending options. 6. President Trump has just communicated that he has the authority to NOT spend any funds he doesn't deem necessary and will return them to the US Treasury. For example: funds the House allocated for Planned Parenthood? Trump can simply not allocate the funds

7. Trump's declarations also make some funds fungible. For instance if he determines that building a Wall on the Southern Border is a defense against Human Trafficking? He can move funds from anywhere else in the Defense Dept Allocation & simply build the Wall.

8. Congress is powerless to stop cash reallocations AND cannot stop the DOD from taking measures under a presidential-declared Emergency.

9. Despite the House's strict language about the Border Wall, it is outweighed by Trump's declaration of a State of Emergency.

10. Amen

“The Trump of the campaign declared entitlement reform off limits”

Flat out lie. Trump talked many times about “turning off the welfare magnet” and entitlement reform.

This whole thing is very much like the tax bill that George Bush, Sr., signed after vowing “No new taxes” in his campaign. I’ve always thought that Bush was being blackmailed. Perhaps it had to do with one of his sons.

I think they have some leverage on Trump. Maybe it has to do with a relative. If I’m right, the Trump presidency is over.

7058(d) of the bill is 145 million, not all of it.

7058(d) is posted here. That is the only section of the bill referenced in the letter to congress.

So....a leftwing columnist at leftwing Seattle Times in a leftwing city on the Left Coast has dissed Trump.

In other news, the sun is expected to rise on schedule.

Where in the world did you come from? This has got to be one of the most ridiculous, juvenile posts ever on Free Republic. If you cannot post something meaningful, do us all a favor and just stop!
