Kasich does posses the capability to do harm to traditional American politics, the very same way that Perot did and the very same way that Losertarians do every time they siphon votes from conservatives in elections.
That said, Kasich would never, ever win (or be close) in a national election.
His only "victory" could be that of being a successful spoiler, and he certainly must know this.
