Offutt Airbase, Nebraska (CNN)If the unthinkable happens and a nuclear exchange between the US and North Korea or Russia happens, President Donald Trump will rely on a secure underground facility at a base in the middle of the United States to carry out his orders. And four-star Air Force Gen. John Hyten, the commander of US Strategic Command, would be at the center of it all. "Our strategic responses are always ready to respond and everybody should know that," Hyten told CNN in an interview inside the highly secured 'Battle Deck' where he would oversee a nuclear response if the US is attacked or if Trump decides to launch a pre-emptive strike. LOL that is hilarious!
Ok sorry for my misunderstanding. “I thank you for your service. The nation owes you a debt of gratitude. Now shut the hell up!”
Sorry, sorry, I could not resist that memorable dialog spoken by Tom Cruise (in one film role where I thought he actually excelled - “Tropic Thunder”)
Anyway, I genuinely thank you. We lived in the Middle East during those incredibly dangerous - we could only surmise what Saddam was capable of - yet amazing times. We put our kids in the protective gas tents supplied by the Israeli government, as the Scuds flew overhead. Everyone thought they were filled with poison gas (false). And then the night when our Arab neighbor came to knock on our door, quietly announcing “The war has begun!” At that very moment the incredibly brave airmen of the U.S. Air Force were piercing the Iraqi defenses to deliver a devastating blow to Saddam’s forces. The rest of our military soon followed, sweeping across the Iraqi deserts in those magnificent battle chariots. Brave fearless soldiers! The rest is history. May God bless the U. S. of A!
Prep for your self and your family. Radioactive fallout circles the globe ceaselessly and only falls out in the rain. Don't drink surface water, grow indoor plants... Prep for fallout and the walking dead who were not prepared.
An EMP would spell the end of civilization as we know it.
EMP threat is joke. Anyone with any electrical/electronic knowledge knows that.
Let us pray that you are correct. I devoted a chapter to the EMP threat in a recent book, and while I am no expert, it certainly was apparent that more than a few experts in the field were concerned about the threat. It would be an unimaginable catastrophe.
