WASHINGTON — At least one man has been arrested in connection with more than a dozen suspicious packages sent to government addresses on the Eastern Seaboard, most of them in the nation's capital, the FBI said Tuesday.

Notice, no name no reason. Another FBI cover up like Vegas and Travis AFB? We need our guns if the FBI can’t protect us.

Well that was quick. I wonder if his FBI handler had him put a return address on the packages and pay with a credit card.

Sounds Vietnamese or Thai. Not necessarily a leftist, so don’t get ahead of the facts.

In 2011, Phan was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun following a mental-health call to his South Everett home, court records show.

“The defendant made some bizarre statements to (deputies), which gave the deputies concern about the defendant’s mental health and safety,” according to a probable-cause affidavit filed in Snohomish County Superior Court at the time.

Deputies took Phan into protective custody under an involuntary mental-health commitment. At the time, deputies confiscated a loaded .357-caliber handgun from Phan’s backpack, the affidavit states.

“Deputies later learned that the defendant was convicted of Second Degree Assault in 1990 and is prohibited by law from possession (of) firearms,” the affidavit states.
