Anybody here indulge in plot development?

OK. Here goes.

Roseanne comes on in episodes 1 and 2 as a lovable, straight talking mom who had only eyes for Donald Trump. Result? Ratings blowout and all Trump lovers love Roseanne.

Episodes later she starts to question herself given the relentless media assault of “FAKE’ news. Reciting only the MSM version of events. she starts to turn on the President, little by little giving in to Jackie’s interpretations.

As October rolls around and the 2018 campaign heats up, Roseanne dumps Trump and urges “Anyone but Trump”.

Only one way to interpret main stream (ABC) media and why they are risking this.

And once Roseanne takes that turn, the ratings will surely tank, a “jump the shark” moment.

It never left her. Comedy was a moon shot - if she hadn't succeeded...
Within one year of the pilot, she had the originator who wanted to dumbdown the whole thing into Lanford pathos soap opera -- fired
Within three years she had the original showrunners, who leaned forward into the originator's pathology - fired
Her Twitter timeline has been red-pilled since about 2014 - she's never suffered fools gladly - and Cankles is her forever Fool
This time around with the show, she has indulged Sara Gilbert to shepherd the 'other' story lines
Sara wanted the gender-fluid kid; suggested Becky-as-surrogate; and has her hand in Darlene's upcoming 'coming out' [note: ALREADY DONE IN THE ORIGINAL; and that witch Sandra Bernhard has already filmed her return reboot role]
NONE of which will make any Trump voter flinch
Roseanne related to George Staphinfection that she and Trump had a long shobiz call after the WOW ratings came out
Now explain why she would drive off the road after the biggest ratings bonanza in nearly a decade [The Big Bang Theory]?

ABC may extend it afterall (lol) but as of now the revival is only scheduled for 9 episodes.

I’ve followed Roseanne on Twitter for a long time. I would say she is hard right on many issues, to the point of what could be considered conspiracy theorism (pizzagate, spirit cooking, etc). I have no doubt that her Trump support is as unwavering as any Trump supporter on this forum.
