Disappointing. I would have hoped the tax cuts to put more juice into hiring than this. The loony libs are going to have a field day spinning this. I guess the "crumbs" comments are going to come back.

Disappointing? It may not be prior months, but 100,000 more people in the labor force is pretty good.

They now need to start cutting Government Programs, it's to easy to live off the taxpayer then to work.
Companies are looking to hire, nobody needs to, so nobody wants to, go to work..

I think this is a symptom of a worker shortage. Can’t find people to hire - especially in the Midwest.

Once the weather turns, if that ever happens, the northern part of the USA will explode with workers. Right now winter is hanging on and nothing is going on.

If it had been Bambi it would have been all about the weather back East and Spring Break as the reason for slower hiring....

Huge spread vs. the ADP number. I’m not sure if it has been this wide before?

Don't forget that economists generally agree that 3-4% unemployment is about the lowest you can go. We are pretty darn close to full employment at those numbers. There will always be a share of the workforce that are between jobs, or rotating off for reasons consistent with the business cycle.

U.S. employers added a modest 103,000 jobs in MarchAnd after 13 months of unemployment, I am one of those 103K. Thank God, although the time off was pretty sweet.
