Pretty sure that Democrats are against the police/government stealing your stuff. This is a “processes” that enrages everybody, left or right.

Really? I've never heard of a Democrat being against this money grab, only conservatives.

Hate to say it, but it was a Republican president, Ronald Regan, who first proposed this practiced and eventually signed the bill onto law. This all began with the so-called Drug Kingpin Act.

Yes, Dems hate it too, but maybe for different reasons than conservatives. The Dems additionally claim that it disproportionately targets minorities and poor people.
