I just hope they don't bring their beliefs and voting records with them, which will help transport the hellhole from CA. Like a cancer metastasizing.

“I just hope they don’t bring their beliefs and voting records with them, which will help transport the hellhole from CA. Like a cancer metastasizing.”
A city couple was driving in the country looking for a new home.
In a small town they saw an elderly man sitting on the porch of the local store and decided to talk to him.
Explaining they were looking for a new home they asked how things were there.
The old man looked at them and asked, “how are things where you come from.”
They replied that things were terrible. The schools were a waste of time, the law was useless, everything was too expensive, neighbors were rude and jobs were hard to find.
Nodding the old man said that was exactly the way it was here.
Shaking their heads the couple drove out of town.
The next day the scene was repeated with another city couple.
When the old man asked how things were where they came from they talked about how good the schools were, the law worked as well as it could, if one was careful everything a family needed was within their budget, if one really wanted to work jobs were plentiful and the neighbors were friendly.
Smiling the old man told them that was exactly how things were here.
He then walked them down the block to the realtors office.
Moral of the story is two fold.
People will find what they are looking for.
It’s up to the locals to let newcomers that they left their old home for reasons. Don’t bring that crap here with you.
But they do...and after they contaminate new states they wonder why things went to hell. I'm a conservative trapped in CA but am having trouble finding a neighboring state I can move to without having to deal with entrenched liberals.
