Levin: ‘It’s Time for the Attorney General to Step Aside’
Breitbart ^ | 9 Apr 2018 | IAN HANCHETT

Posted on 04/09/2018 6:23:56 PM PDT by conservative98

On Monday, talk radio host Mark Levin called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to step down.

Levin said, “I want to make a point here…and it will destroy a 30-year friendship. It’ll destroy it. … But I really do think it’s time for the attorney general to step aside. It’s time for the attorney general to step aside.”

He added, “[T]he buck stops on the attorney general’s desk, even if he recused himself, as he did, on the Russia matter, this is not the Russia matter. And the entire department’s out of control now.”

>> You don’t think Sessions is being blackmailed, or his family threatened?

I believe Sessions has no reason to be blackmailed. But, I’m not ruling out threats against his family. Revisit my post.

Regarding your general dismay, I’m with you.

Damn the torpedoes, Mr. President. You must get rid of Sessions and Rosenslime or you’re toast.

You. Have. No. Other. Choice.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read Trump will be defeated. There are probably 300 of those per day on this site.

What happened today was effectual the end of the Republic. After today it is expected that the vote doesn’t matter, its how ruthless, treacherous, and doing whatever is necessary to desolate a political opponent. The idea of an ‘Honorable Opposition’ was murdered. No side will ever again accept the results of a Presidential election. Very Dangerous territory.

Think about what you know, what we all know about Trump. He isn’t squeamish about firing people. Yet he hasn’t fired Sessions.

There’s a reason for that.

Patience folks.

This Democrat coup should have NEVER gotten started let alone lasted more than 24 hours.

The very survival of this nation is at stake, I do believe.

Sessions may have been good for Alabama but he was not good enough for the U.S. As they said in the movie “Knight’s Tale”, “You have been tried and found wanting”.

There are so few conservative lawyers that I can think of for the Attorney General position, but I’ll name them and let FReepers comment.

1. Mark Levin - He’s a fighter. He calls BS, BS. He knows the Constitution like few other people do and he does it with passion. He wants to protect America from all law-breakers and traitors, not just selective ones and innocent people.

I know he doesn’t want the job but who else has the guts to stand and fight our enemies with their own weapons?

2. Joe DiGenova - Another gutty guy, married to a gutsy woman. He’s also a no BS man and that is good. He knows the law and has experience, plus he knows who our enemies are. That is crucial to the selection of any new AG.

3. Former US ADA McCarthy from NY. Lots of experience, knows the law, and is also a go-getter.

4. Any military judge of long experience who fought to keep Islamic terrorists IN GITMO against the Obama “release and pet” program.

5. Me. I’m not a lawyer, only a lowly paralegal but I’ve been taught by the best in internal security and the law about how to identify our enemies, understand their strategies and how to counter-punch them in the balls till they drop.

I also understand that sometimes you’ve got to fire a lot of corrupt bastards IMMEDIATELY, and then prosecute them, convict them and jail their Democrat/leftist corrupt asses to the fullest extent of the law. And this would include Obama, Hillary, Susan Rice, and the whole corrupt gang from DOJ/FBI and State Department, just for a start.

I would make a list (I have one somewhere in my desk), of those in federal agencies leadership positions (Lerner, Kosiken), some from the old EPA of Obama, the Benghazi cowards, etc. Then I would investigate the hell out of them until they yelled “uncle” and confessed.

There are dozens of eyewitnesses who would be willing to testify against them if granted not only immunity but federal physical protection against the Deep State crooked investigators (who would also be arrested and tried).

This includes most of Hillary’s campaign staff, the Email scandal cover-uppers, her IT people, and the DNC for its’ own “Russian collusion” amongst other things.

Well, I can dream, but I think you’ve got the idea of who our enemy targets are. We just need a strong American legal leader who can clean house with atomic enemas.

The Left has hardcore Marxists, racists, Islamists, and assorted psychoes on their side. We, for the most part, have pansies, cowards, incompetents, stupids, greedy, corrupt and politically ambitious politicians who, like the Democrats, put Party and power above America.

For me, “Homey don’t play that game no more”.

Time to kick ass, cut off balls, and fill the jails. Achmed in GITMO needs some company like Ben Rhodes, Van Jones, John Kerry, Little Dickless Durbin, Harry “The Body” Reid, and Chucky “The Smucky” Schumer, for starts.

You start at the top of the food chain of treason, not at the bottom. Shear and prune. Convict and jail.

NO MORE MR. NICE GUY. AMERICA’S EXISTENCE DEPENDS ON HAVING A GREAT, FEARLESS LEADER, IN THE WHITE HOUSE AND IN THE DEPT. OF JUSTICE/FBI.

Nothing else will do. Nothing else will save us! Time to take the fight to our enemies, domestic and foreign and crush them like the red ants and striped crooks they are.

Sessions destroyed himself. His political career is over. He’ll soon retire and might take up drinking booze and painting like W.

There’s a reason he hasn’t fired Sessions, but it’s probably the obvious one: he has been told both publicly and privately that firing Sessions or Mueller will cause a major crisis in the Senate. There may be no better alternatives now, but it would definitely be a showdown in Congress.
******************************************
Sadly, I think you’re right. Trump has been cleaning out the trash from his cabinet and from the White House staff but he’ll have to stick with the decaying Sessions for the time being.

Do NOT fire Mueller. Arrest him, for crimes involving Uranium One. We know, not only did Muller authorize the release of 20% of the US Uranium reserves, but he did it knowing the release authorization wasn’t properly disclosed to Congress.
This is an open and shut case, that a first year law student could handle, with a successful conviction. It is a case the American people can easily understand. Putin’s Russian’s bribed the Clintons. Clinton’s arrange for 20% of America’s uranium to be handed over to Russians.
“Perp” walking Muller out before the cameras, not only sends a visual message to the Trump’s base, that “we’re not taking it any more”, but will also scare the heck out of the deep state denizens, who have to be asking themselves, “If Trump can take out someone as powerful Mueller, what could he do to me?”.
Mueller is now revealed as a disgraced ex-lawyer (disbarred), who turned on his Country. As the Uranium One scandal is played out on TV, Muller will become on of the most despised men in American, with a reputation in tatters. He’ll remove himself from the position of Special Council. His crew of leftist attorneys will disband, now seeing their Muller “gravy train” is over.
Until the deep state traitors feel pain, they will not stop. This means not only jail time, but loss of all pension funds and retirement benefits. They must feel the pain of prosecution. Only then will they stop. Pray for America. Pray the Lord watch over President Trump.

I don’t know what’s more disturbing, the fact that in America client-attorney privilege is no longer respected, or the fact that the media is so corrupt it’s actually celebrating this gross voilation of civil rights?

The AG doesn’t have to be a lawyer, so I’m thinking that Tom Fitton could be worthy pick.

If not him, then DiGenova or Pirro. It’d be nice to have a, Ginzo, in that office. Especially, Pirro. When she gets mad she reminds me of a pissed off Mob Wife. I could see her walking through the DOJ with about 6, US Marshals, just pulling people’s ID cards from them and having them escorted out of the building. With a friendly reminder that all of their work will be reviewed and if there’s anything, that shouldn’t be, they will be prosecuted. Some of them would be jumping out windows.

It would be pure gold.

Couldn’t the President, instead of firing them, just put it out there...

Show me your cards. NOW!!!! Show me what you have. Show me how you went from a doctored-after the fact mandate, from Rosenstein, to violating Attorney-Client Privilege.

On a side note, they’d need a search warrant for all of this. Those are normally written by Asst US Attorney’s assigned to the various agencies or by a DOJ AUSA. I wonder who the author and affiant are. And what the probable cause is. They would have had to obtained some information about criminal conduct and been able to verify it, somehow. Which, I’m thinking, isn’t going to be that easy to do, short of a paralegal, or someone else, from the office coming forward with information. And, what judge would have signed off on this. Any judge, especially a federal one, should/would have some serious concerns signing a warrant for something like this.

That is, unless they’re a partisan hack, appointed by clinton or obama, which is probably the case and shouldn’t surprise anyone. I’d challenge the validity of the warrant, make it public and go straight to the nearest federal appeals court with a police escort on standby to get me to SCOTUS, if need be.

Why is not Sessions handing over to Congress the requested documents? Congress does have oversight you know.
