I swear I read all the replies - even the nasty, sarcastic ones and didn’t read any that questioned the surname of the family. Anyone with any idea of the nationality? Perhaps that name came from the “mystic world” also? Seriously - what is it?

Update. Looks like the family van went off the 101 down into a ravine. Not looking good. Looks like it was a car wreck.
Thai would be my guess.
It is an Indian name. Asian not American. Their first names are a big clue. Like Sandeep.
