Cruz proved he was not presidential material. Trump found his breaking point and he broke. But, since then, he’s been a strong conservative ally in the Senate and his voice ought to be heard more.
For the time being, it’s Cruz or Beto and if you have any intelligence whatsoever, you want Cruz to retain his seat. It’s time to put away what happened at the convention. BTW, he was far from the only person in the party that all but asked Republicans to vote for Clinton. All the damned Bushes did and that was a greater shock to me.
