Actually, firing Rosenstein would not get Trump impeached. Trump has a laundry list of good reasons. And, with the elections coming up Republicans would not be so bold. Besides, Mueller is still in place, but a new Deputy AG could drag everything back to ‘Collusion’ that doesn’t exist. Hopefully, Mueller would then resign or be fired.
The liberal, Alan Dershowitz, has defended the Constitution and this President more in the last month, than the majority of the Republican Party has in the last year.
A so-called, “conservative,” Jeff Sessions, hasn’t done either since he became the Attorney General.
So “the end” you speak of, just may happen under the conservative, not the liberal.

Due to an error on my part, the following sentence in the next to the last paragraph in the article linked above should be omitted: “Steele’s termination was not only because of his disclosure of information to the press, but also for lying to the FBI about it.”

Trump can’t fire Mueller. Only AG or Acting AG can fire him, and only for ‘cause.’

Let me fix this for you.

We may feel it’s absurd. But the President directly firing Mueller would result in an immediate legal fight over the Constitutionality of the President’s actions. A fight we are by no means guaranteed to win.
Although there be some political blow back from such a move it's a better idea...a far better idea...than firing any of the investigators.
