There comes a point in any war when you have to take a big risk. We are in a cold civil war. Time for big risks.
Actually, firing Rosenstein would not get Trump impeached. Trump has a laundry list of good reasons. And, with the elections coming up Republicans would not be so bold. Besides, Mueller is still in place, but a new Deputy AG could drag everything back to ‘Collusion’ that doesn’t exist. Hopefully, Mueller would then resign or be fired.
Trump can’t fire Mueller. Only AG or Acting AG can fire him, and only for ‘cause.’
