age restriction does not make sense at all. Theres the military, and theres voting. If you are of age to do those, you are of age to own a gun...period
I disagree. The mental capacity necessary to be in the military vs drink, own a gun and vote are quite different. But that’s just my opinion.

maybe you didn’t notice, but someone decided 18 year olds can be in the military, and therefore be able to handle a weapon. What you’re saying is that is not true...so someone’s got it all wrong. How can this conflict be allowed to exist without being challenged?

How are drinking and owning guns similar? Are you saying every person under 21 who owns a gun is dangerous? I can understand young people may not understand the effects of alcohol, absorption rates, health effects, etc. But I can't believe a kid does not understand a gun is dangerous simply because he hasn't attained a certain number of birthdays.
