In the past, President Trump has warned many times against getting further involved in the Syrian civil war.

I was around then, but today feels like a whole different level of whiny around here and “out there”.
I’m not necessarily happy with this probably unnecessary move either, but I’m going to wait and see what’s going on before I comment on whether I’m in support of or against the action.

The president does not need a declaration of war to begin hostilities. Otherwise no one at Pearl Harbor could have shot back without authorization from Congress.

And, there is a difference between winning a war and occupying a nation after an objective is achieved. We achieved the goal in Afghanistan.
