Why a woman, a matriarch FTM, can't have an opinion, is beyond me. You are entitled to your opinion, and she, hers.
First, the Bible teaches we are to pray for our enemies, and i consider the Bushes to be enemies of the Cross. You do know of the absolute Christian genocide in Iraq since Bush invaded, right?
But let’s correct you on what is actually taught in the Bible now:
As Paul taught, of those on the outside of the Church, God is the judge.
But of those on the inside of the Church, “ye are the judges”...
So even though I don’t believe Barbara Bush is a real believer, she passes herself off as one, and therefore, as long as I am not judging hypocritically (as Jesus taught) I have every right to use discernment or “judge” Barbara Bush’s Christian positions as given.
It’s so funny how the world twists what Paul wrote around. On this site we CONSTANTLY make fun of and put down unbelievers for their sins, and make excuses for Christian conservatives’ sins.
If the Bushes call themselves Christians, they are up for a severe Christian scrutiny, because of their vaunted public positions. And they all have been consistently for murdering babies in the womb since Reagan was FORCED to pick HW as VP. (They probably had some Hollywood era dirt on Ronnie that they blackmailed him with... and the fact that Nancy hated the Bushes ever since the Bush’s oil partner’s son took a shot at Ronnie in ‘81 tells the whole story).
And you knew that George W Bush funded Planned Parenthood for the full eight years? All the while the selling of baby parts started that same first year in office, 2000, as far as the records go?

So go read the Bible, and do your homework on who Christians are supposed to judge or have discernment about and whom they are not to judge, so you can see how completely Christian I am being in my prayers for Barbara Bush’s salvation.
