A poll published on Sunday by Germanys biggest tabloid, Bild, found that just a little over half of Germans believe there are neighborhoods in the country so dangerous that even police fear to tread there.
About 51 percent of participants said that they believed lawless no-go zones existed, whereas 41 percent said there were no such areas in Germany. About 77 percent said they wished police would crack down harder on crime syndicates.
The somewhat dubious concept of lawless areas in Germany has been promoted in no small part by disproportionate reporting of crimes committed by migrants and foreigners in popular media, particularly outlets like Bild.
Statistics published biannually by the Federal Criminal Police (BKA) paint a different picture. According to the BKA, foreigners are less likely than native-born Germans to commit every category of crime. For example, of the about 150,000 cases of assault registered in the country in 2016, only 38 percent of the culprits were non-Germans. The BKAs latest report from January 2018 further clarifies that the majority of the crimes committed by foreigners are things such as riding public transport without a ticket and petty theft.

Didn’t the NAZIS in 1925-1933 claim that they would put an “end to lawlessness in our (Germany’s) streets”?
They pretty much did, by making their own assaults, murders, and what used to be considered criminality legal.
And 100% of Germans are afraid to actually identify the origins of these lawless groups. But in this case, It’s not fear of the groups themselves, but of their own government.
I lucky enough to experience Germany in the 70’s when it was German.
You were one of the last. I have an uncle living in Germany, actually.
Why the German people continue to vote for a leader that let in the Muslim Trojan Horse is a real enigma.
I imagine this would be reported assaults.
From the Gatestone Institute
Migrants committed 208,344 crimes in 2015, according to a confidential police report that was leaked to the German newspaper, Bild. This figure represents an 80% increase over 2014 and works out to around 570 crimes committed by migrants every day, or 23 crimes each hour, between January and December 2015. The actual number of migrant crimes is far higher, however, because the report, produced by the Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA), includes only crimes that have been solved (aufgeklärten Straftaten). According to Statista, the German statistics agency, on average only around half of all crimes committed in Germany in any given year are solved (Aufklärungsquote). This implies that the actual number of crimes committed by migrants in 2015 may exceed 400,000.
Further, many crimes are simply not reported or are deliberately overlooked: political leaders across Germany have ordered police to turn a blind eye to crimes perpetrated by migrants, apparently to avoid fueling anti-immigration sentiments. According to the report, most of the crimes were committed by migrants from: Syria (24%), Albania (17%), Kosovo (14%), Serbia (11%), Afghanistan (11%), Iraq (9%), Eritrea (4%), Macedonia (4%), Pakistan (4%) and Nigeria (2%). Most of the migrant crimes involved theft (Diebstahl): 85,035 incidents in 2015, nearly twice as many as in 2014 (44,793). Those were followed by property and forgery crimes (Vermögens- und Fälschungsdelikte): 52,167 incidents in 2015. In addition, in 2015, migrants were involved in 36,010 reported cases of assault, battery and robbery (Rohheitsdelikte: Körperverletzung, Raub, räuberische Erpressung), roughly twice as many as in 2014 (18,678). There were also, in 2015, 28,712 reported incidents of fare evasion on public transportation (Beförderungserschleichung). There were 1,688 reported sexual assaults against women and children, including 458 rapes or acts of sexual coercion (Vergewaltigungen oder sexuelle Nötigungshandlungen).
Germany: Migrant Crime Skyrockets
This is a two year old article.
>only 38 percent of the culprits were non-Germans
The total population of non-Germans was 14.5%. So “immigrants” are committing these assaults at a rate of 2.5x the native population.
ONLY 38% were non-German...LOL!
It was still great in the 80s. The wall came down a month before I left.. I was told by a few Germans that was the dam breaking on their way of life. Maybe not the best idea in retrospect.
My only son will be stationed in Germany soon.. I think he will like Louisiana better lol.
That figure alone is to me shocking.
How could their government permit the immigrant population to get to that point?
I think a responsible government should never allow the population to rise above 5 %.
Above that number the native culture becomes threatened and immigrant influence on politics and governance becomes intrusive.
I wonder how much does the past German history of perpetuating the holacaust has some sublime influences on importing all these troublemaker muzzies to compensate for a national guilt of sorts. Based on logic and reason its just a disaster of a decision.
Gee whiz, Germans fear their own government. This has never happened before, has it? /S
Statistics published biannually by the Federal Criminal Police (BKA) paint a different picture
At least the German govt is publishing the stats, unlike the Swedes who recently either quit publishing certain inconvenient statistics or quit compiling them at all.
I am pretty sure, their sorry history, has much to do with it. The leaders would rather promote all kinds of hate and discontent, among the people, than risk being called racists.
“,,,, disproportionate reporting of crimes ....”
If anything, the number of crimes that may be attributed to the immigrant population and new colonists is vastly UNDERREPORTED. There is a very real fear that were the whole range of the crime wave all across Germany to become known, that would impact severely on the current leadership of the country, and lead to many more clashes between the ethnic Germans and their new “neighbors”.
Epic fail at being transparent with the citizens of Germany.
In 1981 my German landlord’s 16 year old daughter warned us about going to “Turk Corner”, especially after dark when Poliezi did not go there.
We’ve had “no go bro” zones here for half a century.
