Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe lost his job for lying about authorizing disclosures to the press, including allegedly misleading former FBI Director James Comey. But although McCabe strenuously denies Comey's version of events, he says he doesn't doubt his credibility.
McCabe does not hold a negative view of Mr. Comey's credibility, his spokeswoman Melissa Schwartz told the Washington Examiner. Schwartz said she has firsthand knowledge of McCabes opinion of Comey and is not assuming his views.
There is no claim that Director Comey defamed Mr. McCabe, Schwartz said. People's recollections can honestly differ.

Weasels of a feather can apparently make some very subtle distinctions.
Where is McCabe’s book?
McCabe is frantically trying to keep Comey on his good side while selling him down the river to save his own ass:
“I’m not calling you a liar, but you are lying!”
That is the same thing. If he has a “faulty memory” then his credibility is highly questionable.
Yea. . sure McCabe. . .TELL IT TO GENERAL FLYNN!!!
When is the office and home of Daniel Richman, “hardly a lawyer” get raided?
I think it goes beyond avoiding the truth.
Each of them fears going to jail.
I personally feel they were both involved in treason/sedition by trying to enforce throwing a Presidential election to their candidate of choice.
I say try them and then execute the two of them if found guilty. This is serious, serious stuff.
Unfortunately for McCabe, in this specific instance Comey not only has conflicting recollections but also clear reasons why he would not have approved of McCabe’s leaking had he known of it. No fan of Comey here, of course, but in this specific matter Comey totally undermines McCabe with plausibility.
Does that same standard apply to Comey's memos on his meetings and telephone calls with President Trump?
But the truth is still the truth regardless of how many times you lie.
I dispute the memories of Holocaust deniers, but not their credibility. McCabe, may the Schwartz be with you.

Whoever authored the OIG report did a really good job - they made your point (plausibility) very clear at the end of their report as to why what McCabe did was to advance his personal interests rather than the public interest and therefore why Comey’s version of events is believable and McCabe’s is not. McCabe is so screwed (self-inflicted). I believe Comey is too, just not on this one issue.
Anybody seen or heard from Bill Priestep lately?
McCabe after firing: "I guess I need to f#ck Comey, too." (This is a joke.)
Unless you support Trump or are a Republican, then it's off to the gallows!
I am sure we could find some reliable lamp posts around, and, you know, throw some ropes over them. 😁👍 Im game.
